STRESS
is a fact of life today, both in the workplace and at home – even in leisure and recreation. Gradually, it breaks down your physical and mental well-being. Short-term diversions bring temporary relief but don’t address the underlying causes. Look within, and you’ll find that stress is not an inevitable condition of life but your response to it – something you can change. The Quiet Mind brings the strength and flexibility you need to turn the stress response into a balance of focus, insight and empathy.
Reducing stress through meditation and mind-training breaks the cycle of habitual patterns by combining concentration exercises with the deceptively simple techniques of mindful awareness training.
THE SEMINARS consist of ten ninety-minute workshops. For the first hour you’ll benefit from the supportive silence of the group and the continuous flow of guided instruction; the remaining half-hour is open for questions and feedback. You’ll uncover the underlying judgments and subconscious decisions that give rise to irritation, anger, anxiety, fear, frustration, helplessness, depression and self-inflicted distress. You’ll even find ways to deal with pain and tragedy. The Quiet Mind transforms your perception and reveals untapped inner resources you never knew you had.

We fail to grasp the naturally enlightened mind not because it's beyond our ability to understand, but because it underlies it
